REPAIRS

IF YOU HAVE A DAMAGED SIDAI DESIGNS JEWELRY PIECE YOU WANT REPAIRED, PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS

WARRANTY & NON-WARRANTY REPAIRS
Sidai Designs will repair or replace manufacturing faults free of charge up to 1 year from the original date of purchase. Please retain your receipt or pass it on to the gift recipient, as the original proof of purchase is the warranty.

WARRANTY REPAIRS
Cover anything that appears to have failed under normal use, such as a torn leather cord or a broken clasp. We do not charge for warranty repairs.

NON-WARRANTY REPAIRS
Cover damage due to normal wear and tear or damage not caused by a malfunction. For example, a ripped necklace, or natural oxidation of materials. We charge for non-warranty repairs.

LOST OR STOLEN
Warranty does not entitle you to replacements or refunds for lost or stolen items.

WHO DETERMINES IF IT’S A WARRANTY OR NON-WARRANTY REPAIR?
Sidai Designs will determine whether your jewelry repair is or is not covered by our warranty. We will contact you if there will be a charge and/or to discuss repair options.

CHARGES FOR NON-WARRANTY REPAIRS
Minimum Charge (applied toward any repair) $30.00

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Turnaround time is approximately 30 business days from the time your jewelry is received excluding shipping. We have the ability to repair the vast majority of breakages.

WHAT TO DO IF SOMETHING BREAKS
First, contact accounts@sidaidesigns.com with proof of payment and image of broken item. The Sidai Designs team will assess the damage and determine if the product can be repaired or replaced. They will send you a Repair Form.

FILL OUT THE FORM
Next, complete the Sidai Designs Repair Form. Please write clearly, provide complete information and give a detailed description of the repair.

HOW TO SHIP YOUR JEWELLERY
It’s best to ship your jewelry in an envelope/box large enough to prevent creasing
Place the Sidai Designs Repair Form (completely filled out) in the box with your piece.

Once the item is shipped, please inform your contact at Sidai Designs including the tracking number where applicable.

WHO PAYS FOR SHIPPING?
Customers are responsible for paying for returning items to one of the Sidai Designs Centers. Sidai Designs will then cover expenses to return it to you. This applies both to warranty and non-warranty repairs. All jewelry will be shipped back to you from one of our Sidai Designs Centers.
